Many times we come across certain fancy English words that we have no clue about.

We may get these kinds of words in our magazines , newspapers or English movies but most of the times we don’t understand.

If you like to make an impression at your work place or front of your friends, then using these words in your daily conversations is something you should consider doing.

As we all know that there can be many meanings of a word but we become habitual of using only few words and never even try rest of them.

4.Adamant-

When one refuses to be persuaded or to change one’s mind, you call that person adamant.

Example-

The students are adamant that the protests will continue until the library is opened.

5.Ineffable-

Ineffable

When something is too great or extreme that you feel short of words in describing it, that something is called ineffable.

Example-

The garden is ineffable.

6.Mellifluous

Mellifluous is something that is sweet, musical, and pleasing to hear.

Example-

People adore her due to her mellifluous voice.

The music compositions are so mellifluous.

7.Paramount-

Something is considered paramount, when it’s very important supreme and better then the rest.

Example-

It is paramount to think in the interest of the children.

8. What is Merriment?

High, spirits, exuberance, cheerfulness, gaiety ,fun, festivity
merriment

Let’s understand;

Merriment is an occasion when people laugh or have an enjoyable time together, gaiety and fun.

Example; My Birthday is the time when we are full of excitement and merriment all around us.
