“Do”and”Make”- Differences|Uses

The English verbs ‘do” and “make “are frequently confused, we need to remember where to use what.

so let’s learn…..

Using do

we use ”DO”basically with actions, activity, Chores, tasks and expressions.

“Do” refer to jobs, or responsibilities. It is associated with completion, for instance: work, jobs, tasks, activities etc. We sometimes use DO to replace a verb when the meaning is clear or obvious.

For intense,

Actions– Exercise, jumping, running, etc.

Activities– A crosswords puzzles, Dumb Charades, crossword clue, etc.

Chores– Laundry, dishes, Shopping, Cleaning, etc.

Expressions– A favor, well, badly your best etc.

Using do

“I do exercise daily.”

“He does his laundry weekly.”

‘’After this lesson we will do the crossword puzzles.”
